Koncem letošního srpna si kamarádka Andrea vyvolila za svého manžela Katalánce Alberta. Protože jsem jeden z mála z jejího okolí, kdo zná oba dva jazyky snoubenců, byl jsem pozván, abych se zúčastnil obřadu coby tlumočník oddávajícího. Nutno říct, že s Albertem jsme svatební řeč překládali cca tři a půl hodiny. Přelouskat básnické obraty do katalánštiny byl vcelku porod, ale výsledek byl velmi uspokojivý pro všechny strany. Já jsem si poprvé v životě vyzkoušel roli neoficiálního oddávajícho, což se také může občas hodit. Celkově to byla velmi zajímavá zkušenost. Jediné, co Andrejce nezávidím, že díky byrokracii českých úřadů musela Albertovo příjmení převzít kompletně - a ve Španělsku se příjmení skládá z příjmení otce i matky. A tak jsem se musel bavit představou, až bude někdy vyplňovat české formuláře, které nepočítají, že dotyčný má více než jedno příjmení :o) Snoubencům přeji mnoho štěstí do společného života.

In the end of this August my friend Andrea decided to marry a catalan boy Albert. As I was one of few of her surrondings who knows as czech as catalan, I was invited to assist to the ceremony as the official translator of the person who marry both of them. It´s necessary to note that we together with Albert were translating the wedding speech almost three and a half hour. It was such hard to translate the poetic figures of the speech. In general, it was a very interesting experience. The only thing I do not envy to Andrea is the fact that due to the bureaucracy of czech officers she has to accept Albert´s surname at all - in Spain a surname usually consist of the father´s surname and the moter´s surname. And so I have to enjoy myself the imagination whe Andrea will have to fullfill some czech blanks which, for sure, do not suppose that a person has more than one surname :o) I wish good luck and many happy whiles to both, Albert and Andrea, in their common life.
